Gloria Dela Merced is the current COO of St. Louise Regional Hospital. She has worked as a nurse for over 30 years and has been part of the St. Louise team for more than 23 years. 

Gloria is originally from the Philippines and she completed her BS in nursing from Western Mindanao State University. She pursued her Masters of Science in Nursing from Walden University, specializing in Leadership Management. 

Gloria has served on various committees and held leadership positions in many different organizations. She is currently a board member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and previously served as the President of their Central Coast of California Chapter. 

Gloria is an active member of the Gilroy Community. She was a member of Leadership Gilroy Class of 2017 (Art Center Mural) and has served on the Leadership Gilroy Board since 2019. She joined the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce in 2023 and is a member of the Rotary Club of Gilroy.
